PAIR OF RARE ANTIQUE TIBETAN MEN’S EARRINGS – SILVER, CORAL, TURQUOISE & GLASS
TIBET – EARLY 20TH CENTURY (CIRCA 1900–1950)
A rare and authentic pair of traditional Tibetan men’s earrings, hand-crafted in silver and set with red coral, turquoise, and glass elements. Originating from Tibet and dating to the first half of the 20th century, these earrings represent a distinctive form of Himalayan tribal jewelry associated with cultural identity, protection, and social status.
Each earring is vertically composed with carefully arranged elements, combining ornamental symbolism with skilled metalwork. The use of coral and turquoise—materials historically valued across Tibetan culture—reflects both aesthetic preference and spiritual significance.
