LAHU (MUSUR) & LISU SILVER FLOWER EARRINGS
Golden Triangle Region (Thailand–Myanmar) – Early 20th Century
Authentic pair of traditional round bent-wire flower earrings attributed to the Lahu (Musur) and Lisu hill tribes of the Golden Triangle region. These earrings are crafted in high-silver-content metal, consistent with early 20th-century tribal silversmithing.
The design features a distinctive circular form terminating in a stylized floral element, intended to face forward when worn. The construction combines structural simplicity with ornamental detail, reflecting both daily wear and cultural identity.
Such pieces were traditionally worn through small ear piercings rather than large-gauge lobes, and their form allows for potential adaptation—such as the addition of a central gemstone to the floral front.
A naturally developed patina is present, enhancing depth and surface character while supporting age authenticity.
