LAHU (MUSUR) MIXED SILVER FLOWER EARRINGS WITH FILIGREE DANGLES
Golden Triangle (Thailand–Myanmar) – Early 20th Century Tribal Jewelry
Rare pair of authentic Lahu (Musur) tribal earrings from the Golden Triangle region (Thailand–Myanmar border). These handcrafted pieces feature a classic round bent-wire structure with a forward-facing floral element, complemented by finely worked dangling leaf and filigree components.
The combination of rigid circular form and articulated dangles creates both movement and visual contrast, characteristic of traditional hill-tribe adornment. The floral front is designed to sit prominently when worn, serving as the focal point of the composition.
Crafted in a mixed silver alloy with tested medium silver content, consistent with utilitarian tribal silversmithing of the early 20th century. Surface shows a natural, even patina developed through age and use, supporting authenticity.
