HMONG SILVER EARRINGS – NORTHERN THAILAND / LAOS & BURMA REGION
Early to Mid-20th Century
A refined and authentic pair of antique Hmong hill tribe earrings from the highland regions of golden triangle, Northern Thailand / Laos and Burma, dating to the early–mid 20th century. These earrings represent the understated side of Southeast Asian tribal silversmithing, where simplicity and form carry quiet cultural significance.
Each earring features a clean, curved hook form with smooth, minimal terminals. Unlike more elaborate ceremonial pieces, this pair is plain and identical in construction—reflecting everyday adornment rather than decorative display. Their balanced proportions and restrained design highlight the practical elegance typical of Hmong jewelry traditions.
Crafted in high-silver-content metal (tested), the earrings exhibit a natural aged patina consistent with authentic use and traditional hand-forging techniques. Lightweight and well-preserved, they remain fully wearable and highly collectible.
