ANTIQUE THAI YAI (SHAN) EAR PLUG – CLEAR “MEAWADEE” STYLE – BURMA

An authentic antique ear plug attributed to the Thai Yai (Shan) culture of the Burma region. This piece is carrying the characteristic surface maturity associated with burial-aged artifacts.

Hand-formed in a clear material—either glass or possibly natural crystal/stone (unverified yet)—it reflects the traditional Meawadee style of body adornment, dating approximately from the early 19th to early 20th century.

The form is clean and balanced, with a subtle translucency that enhances its visual depth under light.

  • Weight: 3.95 grams

  • Dimensions: 15 mm × 15 mm

  • Wearable size (earlobe hole): 14 mm

Condition is very good for its age: fully intact, structurally sound, and suitable for wear or collection.

Sold as a single piece.
