THIS PAIR OF ANTIQUE SILVER EARRINGS ORIGINATES FROM NORTHERN VIETNAM, LIKELY CRAFTED BY BLACK YAO (DAO ĐEN) TRIBE, NORTHERN TO CENTRAL HIGHLANDS VIETNAM, LATE 19TH–EARLY 20TH CENTURY, FOUND IN CAMBODIA. SILVERSMITHS OVER 100 YEARS AGO. HAND-FORGED IN A THIN CIRCULAR COIL FORM WITH ELEGANT SPIRAL TERMINALS ON EACH SIDE, THESE EARRINGS REFLECT THE TRADITIONAL SYMBOLISM OF LIFE, CONTINUITY, AND SPIRITUAL ENERGY COMMON IN SOUTHEAST ASIAN CULTURE.
MADE FROM SILVER (UNTESTED), EACH EARRING EXHIBITS A BEAUTIFUL AGED PATINA AND FINE BALANCE BETWEEN STRENGTH AND DELICACY.
