A refined example of a traditional Kmwene earring from the Tanimbar Islands, representing the intricate metalwork of Eastern Indonesia’s island cultures.


OVERVIEW

This large, openwork ear ornament displays a complex arrangement of hand-formed spiral elements, characteristic of Tanimbar craftsmanship. Originally part of a pair, this piece is offered as a single surviving example, retaining full structural integrity and visual balance.
