VINTAGE YAO / HMONG TRIBAL SILVER HOOP EARRINGS WITH ARROWHEAD PENDANTS – GOLDEN TRIANGLE REGION
VINTAGE YAO / HMONG TRIBAL SILVER HOOP EARRINGS WITH ARROWHEAD PENDANTS – GOLDEN TRIANGLE REGION
An authentic pair of vintage tribal hoop earrings associated with Yao / Hmong highland traditions of the Golden Triangle region, crafted in tested high silver-content alloy. The earrings feature engraved circular hoop forms with suspended arrowhead-style pendants, reflecting the symbolic and decorative silverworking traditions of Southeast Asian hill tribes.
Yao silversmiths were historically highly esteemed throughout the region and often produced jewelry for neighboring tribal communities. The pair is visually non-matching yet equal in size — a characteristic commonly found in authentic handmade tribal adornment and traditional ethnic silverwork.
The earrings display strong aged character, hand-worked detail, and wearable ethnographic appeal. Original examples had been passed down generations and as storage of wealth and are becoming increasingly difficult to source.
